At Herakleidon Museum (37, Apostolou Pavlou str,Αthens ) , for first time in Greek museology it will be displayed a artwork inspired by the oldest intact armor till today , dated back to the middle of 15th century BC. It was excavated at Argos and was owned by a Mycenean warlord. The armor has been constructed by the Athenian metal artist Dimitrios Katsikis exclusively with traditional materials (bronze sheets, leather, textile&wool) and techniques (hot metal raising/forming)
The exhibit is part of the annual exhibition “EUREKA. Technology of War in Ancient Greece” .Open doors 22 August 2018 till December 2019.
